Estimated Taxes

Estimated Tax Payment Burden Survey

  • According to the IRS, they recognize that taxpayers with estimated tax requirements often have to spend additional time and money to meet their tax obligations compared to those who have the benefit of withholding.
  • Not meeting estimated tax obligations can also lead to penalties and high tax bills.

The IRS is interested in better understanding the burdens and challenges taxpayers may face in making estimated tax payments throughout the year.   The Estimated Tax Burden Survey provides an important opportunity to provide feedback that can be used to help millions of taxpayers who need to make estimated tax payments.   The 2022 results aren't available yet, however, the Survey link is below!
